ARKANSAS CUP COMPETITION RULES
The Arkansas Cup Design Contest will be at Friday, August 19, 2010 at the Hot Springs Convention Center in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
- Must be a member in good standing or an active Associate member in good standing of the Arkansas Florists Association, actively employed in the floral business in the state of Arkansas.
- Previous Scholarship Design Competition Winner and First and Second Runners up of the Scholarship Design Competition will be eligible to compete.
- AIFD members in good standing are elegible to compete.
- You can win the Arkansas Cup title only three times.
- Prize money will be announced yearly. ($500.00 Bill Plummer Scholarship, $300 cash award from Southern Wholesale and $500 Arkansas Florists Association. Teleflora Tuition Scholarship will only be awarded if the winner is a current Teleflora member in good standing. The checks will be presented to the winner upon completion of a qualified floral schoool.
- Arkansas Cup Winner is expected to represent Arkansas the following year in the Mid-America Cup Competition.
- Entry fee is $40.00.
All entries must be postmarked no later than July 15, 2011. Deadline will be strictly enforced. Applicants will be notified when their application has been received and will receive rules and regulations in the mail.
