DESIGN SCHOLARSHIP COMPETITION RULES
- Must be a member in good standing or an an active associate member in good standing of the Arkansas Florists Associaton, actively employed in the floral business in the state of Arkansas.
- The winner automatically becomes elegible to enter the Arkansas Cup Competition.
- First place winner can win Scholarship Design Competiton one (1) time.
- First and Second place winners have the option to advance to the Arkansas Cup competion. You have the option to enter the Scholarship Design Competiton until you win.
- Once you enter the Arkansas Cup you are no longer eligible to compete at Scholarship Design Competiton level.
- First place will receive $1,000.00; Second Place will receive $600.00; Third place will receive $400.00. All prize money will be awarded upon completion of a qualified floral school. Prize money will be announced annually.
- Entry fee is $40.00.
The Arkansas Florists Association Scholarship Design Competition will be held at Southern Wholesale - 7501 Fluid Drive in Little Rock at noon on August 7, 2011.
All entries must be postmarked no later than July 15, 2011. This deadline will be strictly enforced. Applicants will be notified when their application has been received and will receive rules and regulations in the mail.
