Mid-America Invitational

In 2006 AFA began the Mid America Invitational Cup Competition whereby state cup winners would be invited to come to Arkansas and compete for the MidAmerica Cup.  In 2006 seven state cup winners competed for this award.  Seven states were represented in 2007, six in 2008, seven in 2009 and eight in 2010.

Competition Rules

1.   State Design Winners will be invited to compete.
2.   Any individual contestant can only win Mid America Cup three (3) times regardless of who they ar representing.
3. Prize money will be announced annually.  Arkansas Florists Association $1,000.00; Teleflora $1,000.00;   A full tuition education scholarhip  is awarded to the winner if their shop is a member of Teleflora in good standing.  Arkansas Florists Association will grant an  additional $500  winner if they represent Mid America Cup at the Society of American Florists Sylvia Cup Competiton.  The winner will also receive the beautiful MidAmerica Trophy. 
4. There is no entry fee for this competition.
