WOW!  What a weekend!

I want to thank each one of you who attended the 59th Annual Arkansas Florists Convention and Trade Market.

With special thanks to the board of directors, all committee members and volunteers.  So many of you worked so hard to make it happen. 

Our vendors are the greatest. Without them we would not have a convention.  Show your appreciation throughout the year by making them your first priority when purchasing product for your shop. 

Arkansas could not have the largest state floral convention in the nation without all of us, florists and vendors, working together to make it happen. 

Keep telling people about our association when you talk to florists across the state and even those in our our neighboring states.   Many florists from our neighboring states attended our convention this year.

There were 11 states represented in the Mid-America competition.  This is the largest participation since the beginning in 2006.  Congratulations to Jay Morris of Mississippi, the 2011 winner!

In 2012 we will be celebrating our 60th Anniversary, the Diamond Year.   As we approach this momentous occasion let's focus on where we have come from, what has been accomplished and a dedication to reach out to others as we continue to grow.

It has been a wonderful and memorable year.
